Igbo Union Yorkshire (IUY) partnered with Afrikindness to provide safeguarding training for parents and community leaders. This training was designed to equip our community with the knowledge and skills to protect our children and vulnerable members.
Igbo Union Yorkshire partnered with the National Institute for Health and Social Care Research to deliver a dementia awareness workshop. The event attracted over 70 participants and included traditional African dance and cuisine.
Annual Sports Fun Day bringing families together with activities, games, and cultural celebration. Officially opened by former Mayor Cllr. Asghar Khan. Free admission with barbecue, traditional music, sports activities, and bouncy castles.
